PM Kisan Yojana's 11th installment will be released today; Here's how to check the status online

PM Kisan Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today release the 11th installment payment of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi, worth more than Rs 20,000, to farmers over Rs 1 billion. The announcement will be made in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

The PM arrived in Shimla’s Ridge Maidan this morning and attended the Garib Kalyan Sammelan. Through video conferences, he interacts with the beneficiaries of 16 centrally sponsored welfare systems run by nine ministries.

The families of farmers owning more than 10 crores of land will get Rs 2,000 as the 11th installment of the scheme.

Here’s how to check your status online

Step 1: Visit pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: Select the ‘Beneficiary Status’ option under the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the home page
Step 3: Enter the registered Aadhaar number or bank account number.
Step 4: Click on ‘Get Data’
Step 5: Installment status will be displayed

All PM Kisan beneficiaries have to complete their account eKYC compliance to get the 11th installment. The deadline for completing eKYC is May 31, 2022. Beneficiaries can opt for OTP-based eKYC available on the PMKISAN portal or visit the nearest CSC centers for biometric-based eKYC.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a centrally sponsored scheme that provides income support to all landholder farmer families in the country to help them meet their agricultural, financial, and household needs. Under the scheme, eligible landowner farmer families get financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year, which is paid in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.
