Ranchi: Minister of Literacy Department in School Education, Jagarnath Mahato said that after January 31, all the schools in the state will be opened. He said that due to the closure of the school, the education of the children is being affected. Online classes are not being held for all the children of government schools. In such a situation, review the corona infection, action will be taken to open the school. However, the final decision to open the school will be taken in the meeting of the State Disaster Management Officer headed by the Chief Minister. The Department of School Education and Literacy will give its proposal to the authority regarding this. Initially, schools can be opened for secondary and higher secondary classes, especially for matriculation and intermediate examinations, it is being said that it is necessary to open schools for these classes. Before the current wave, schools were opening for classes above class 6 given the decreasing infection of Corona. The proposal was sent to the State Disaster Management Officer, however, its approval could not be received.

The state government has imposed a ban till January 31: The State Disaster Management Officer had earlier banned the opening of school colleges till January 15. Now extended till 31st January. In such a situation, it can be approved in the meeting of the State Disaster Management Officer to be held on January 30 or 31. However, in the meeting, a decision will be taken only after reviewing the current infection status of Corona.
