Jharkhand Mobile Tab Scheme For Students: In Jharkhand, all the students from class 1 to class XII will get that mobile tab for free, as well as who will get the benefit of the government scheme for free for 1-year recharge.
Jharkhand News: 21000 students studying in a residential school run by the state’s welfare department will be given mobile tabs with SIM and 12 months data recharge, students will get 2GB data per day, on this internet recharge and pre-low-dead content. The facility will also be provided free of cost. That is, the students will already have many reading apps on the mobile and the notes can also be there, that is, everything will be already set in that mobile tab. Out of 143 residential schools run by the Welfare Department, except 7 Eklavya Model Residential Schools, the remaining 136 residential schools’ students from classes 1 to 12 will get tabs. In 7 Eklavya Model Residential Schools, mobile tabs will be made available to the students from the central government level. About Rs, 26.25 crores have been estimated to be spent on the purchase of 21000 mobile tabs (pre-loaded e-content) along with SIM cards and 12 months data recharge.
