Why JEE Main 2022 April session dates rescheduled?
“Representations are being received from candidates seeking change in the dates of JEE (Main) – 2022 session 1 as their board exam dates are clashing with JEE (Main) – 2022 session 1. In view of the persistent demand from the student community and in their support, NTA has decided to reschedule the examination,” the official notification reads.

The exams were scheduled to be held on April 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21. The registration process for JEE Main 2022 is underway and the last date to apply is March 31. Fees can be paid online on Zeeman. nta.nic.in. Candidates who have passed plus 2 with at least five subjects can apply for engineering admission.
To appear in JEE (Main) – 2022, there is no age limit for the candidates. Candidates who have passed class 12/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2022 examination. However, candidates may need to fulfill the age criteria of the institute(s) in which they are willing to take admission.
