New technology from Google is making this possible.
Radar Technology Used by Google Back in 2015
In 2015, Google reported on its Soli Innovations, a sensor that uses the electromagnetic waves of radar to sense signals and evolution. The innovation is first seen with the Google Pixel 4, which can use hand gestures to pause music or blink alerts without the need for an actual touch.
Another continued use of this innovation can be found with the brilliant presentation of the Google Nest Hub, which uses radar innovation to trace instances and developments of a person’s breathing when they rest close to the gadget.

How the Soli sensor differs from ATAP technology
This innovation allowed the gadget to follow the comfort of customers without wearing a tie on a smartwatch. The exact same Soli sensor is now in use with the new test but differs in how the information is handled.
With Soli, sensor inputs are being used to control PCs directly, whereas, with ATAP, PCs can now understand customers’ normal development and later settle on a variety of decisions.
How ATAP aims to differentiate itself from regular radar technology
According to Leonardo Glusti, Google’s head of planning at ATAP, the group recognizes that while innovation continues to grow in the number of customers’ daily lives, it is appropriate to begin requesting that genuine innovation follow customers.
Glusti observes that a great deal of exploration is actually based on investigations into how people use the space around them to intervene in social interactions, otherwise called “proximix”.

The Radar innovation can identify customers when they are approaching a PC and when they are entering their own space. The potential application is that PCs can also choose to play specific activities such as naturally turning on without clients having to press a button.
